Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: 23 September 2026
These terms govern the sale of the digital courses offered on this site. Placing an order means accepting them in full.
English translation. Biohackademia is a domain owned and operated by LOUNIZ, a company registered in France. This page is an English translation of the French original, provided so that you can read it in your own language. The relationship between you and LOUNIZ is governed by French law, and the French version of these terms is the one that prevails should the two ever differ. Nothing here removes the protections you enjoy under the mandatory consumer law of your own country of residence.
Article 1. Purpose and scope
These terms and conditions of sale apply to every order placed by a user, hereinafter “the Customer”, with LOUNIZ, a SAS with a share capital of 400 000 euros, whose registered office is at 4 avenue Gourgaud, 75017 Paris, France, registered under number RCS Paris 797 439 031, EU VAT number FR91 797439031, operating the trade name and the site Biohackademia, hereinafter “the Seller”, in respect of the digital courses accessible online.
They prevail over any other document. The Seller reserves the right to amend them at any time; the terms that apply are those in force on the date of the order.
Article 2. Products
The Seller offers digital course modules accessible online, made up of written lessons, downloadable worksheets, audio recordings and interactive tools. These modules may be bought individually or grouped into bundles.
The details of each module, number of lessons, estimated length, resources included and full programme, appear on its presentation page. Content may be enriched or updated; those changes are included at no extra cost for Customers who have bought the module concerned.
Nature of the content. The courses are educational in purpose. They are neither medical advice, nor a diagnosis, nor a treatment, and they do not replace the involvement of a health professional. No individual result is guaranteed.
Article 3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes, at the French VAT rate of 20% applicable to electronically supplied services. For a consumer resident in another member state of the European Union, the VAT that applies is that of their country of residence, with no change to the displayed price. For a VAT-registered business in another member state providing a valid EU VAT number, the tax is reverse charged. For a Customer resident outside the European Union, the supply is outside the scope of French VAT. Prices are charged in euros regardless of the Customer's country: your bank converts at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee, neither of which the Seller controls. The prices that apply are those in force on the day of the order. The Seller reserves the right to amend them at any time, with no effect on orders already placed.
The struck-through prices displayed are the module's reference price outside a promotion. A detailed invoice is issued for every order and sent automatically by email. Business Customers may enter their company name and tax number at the time of payment so that the invoice is made out in their company's name.
Article 4. Orders
Orders are placed online. The Customer selects the product or products wanted, enters the information requested, reads these terms and confirms payment.
The sale is complete when payment is confirmed. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the Customer, together with a detailed invoice issued by the payment provider on the Seller's behalf.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order that appears abnormal, in particular where fraud is suspected or where an earlier dispute remains unresolved.
Article 5. Payment
Payment is made online by bank card or by any other method offered during the order process. It is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., certified PCI-DSS level 1.
No card data passes through the Seller's servers or is stored there. Transactions are secured and may be subject to strong authentication (3D Secure).
Payment in three interest-free instalments is offered on the bundles: the first third is taken at the time of the order, the others at 30 and 60 days. If a payment fails on one instalment, access may be suspended until the position is put right.
Article 6. Delivery and access
Access to the content is opened immediately after payment is confirmed. The Customer receives their credentials and the link to their space by email.
Access is granted with no time limit and with no automatic renewal. It is strictly personal: sharing credentials, distributing or reselling the content will result in immediate suspension of access, without refund and without prejudice to legal proceedings.
The Seller undertakes a duty of best efforts as regards the availability of the service. An interruption for maintenance or due to force majeure does not give rise to compensation.
Article 7. Right of withdrawal
Under article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, a consumer Customer has in principle a period of fourteen (14) days in which to exercise a right of withdrawal.
However, under article L. 221-28 13° of the same code, that right cannot be exercised for the supply of digital content not provided on a tangible medium where performance has begun after the consumer's prior express agreement and express waiver of the right of withdrawal.
The courses sold on this site fall within that case: access to the content is opened immediately after payment. By confirming an order, the Customer expressly requests immediate performance and expressly acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal as soon as access is opened. That dual consent is collected explicitly at the point of payment, before any confirmation, and confirmed by email on a durable medium.
Consequently, no withdrawal request can be honoured once access has been opened. This does not affect the legal guarantee of conformity described in the following article, which the Customer does not waive and cannot waive.
If you are resident outside the European Union, the mandatory consumer protections of your own country of residence continue to apply to you in addition.
Article 8. Legal guarantee of conformity
The Seller is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under articles L. 224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code. That guarantee is independent of the right of withdrawal and cannot be set aside by any term.
The content is deemed non-conforming if it does not match the description on its presentation page, if it is not accessible, or if it does not have the qualities a Customer may legitimately expect of it.
Where there is a lack of conformity, the Customer may require it to be put right, and failing that obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund. Simply write to contact@biohackademia.com describing the problem: the Seller replies within 48 working hours and looks for a solution before any other step.
Article 9. Intellectual property
All the content remains the exclusive property of the Seller. Purchase confers a personal, non-exclusive, non-assignable and non-transferable right of use.
The following are prohibited in particular: reproduction, public distribution, account sharing, resale, making the content available on a network, using the content to train third parties whether for payment or free of charge, and exploiting the content to train an automated system.
Article 10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
Article 11. Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for the consequences of applying the methods taught, those being a matter for the Customer's own judgement and, where appropriate, for the advice of their doctor.
In any event, the Seller's liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned.
Article 12. Customer service, complaints and amicable settlement
Any complaint should first be addressed to customer service, at contact@biohackademia.com. The Seller undertakes to acknowledge it within 48 working hours and to look for an amicable solution before any other step.
For a cross-border dispute within the European Union, a consumer Customer may ask the European Consumer Centre France for free assistance, europe-consommateurs.eu.
Article 13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Failing that, the French courts shall have jurisdiction, subject to the protective rules applicable to consumers, including the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which a consumer is resident.
