Installation in twenty-one days
The progressive installation plan, one brick a week, so the system survives the first surprise.
The principle: one brick at a time
The classic mistake is to install everything on one enthusiastic Sunday, then abandon all of it by the following Wednesday.
Three weeks, three bricks.
Week 1: capture
One objective only: stop losing things.
Day 1, the big brain dump, sixty to ninety minutes, plus a first complete clarification. Day 2, setting up the capture points. Days 3 to 7, systematic capture and a five-minute daily emptying. Day 7, the first weekly review.
Touch nothing else this week. No time blocking, no goals map. One habit only.
Indicator: the inbox is empty on at least five days out of seven.
