The PAO system: Person, Action, Object
The competition system that compresses six digits into a single image. Cards, long sequences, records.
The two-digit wall
With the plain Major System, sixty digits give you thirty images. That is a lot to place. PAO compresses: six digits become one composite image.
The principle
Every number from 00 to 99 gets three attributes: a Person, an Action, an Object.
| Number | Person | Action | Object |
|---|---|---|---|
| 14 | Tina Turner | singing into | microphone |
| 27 | Nicole Kidman | dancing with | umbrella |
| 33 | Marilyn Monroe | standing over | air vent |
Notice that the people are chosen by initials, and the initials follow the phonetic code: Tina Turner is T-T, so 1 and 4 would be T-R — in practice most people pick T-R names like Theodore Roosevelt for 14, and keep the same consonant logic throughout. Whatever rule you choose, apply it to all hundred.
